Mr. Spence’s basement drywall needed repairs after moisture damage had badly affected large parts of it.
Moisture is a common issue for drywall boards, particularly in basements. Our contractors knew exactly what to do once they’d assessed Mr. Spence’s basement drywall. Repairing the boards was possible since the moisture hadn’t spread too far across the drywall. Our contractors cut away the damaged pieces of gypsum boards and cut new material to fit. They screwed this into place before applying a layer of plaster on top. This left Mr. Spence’s basement looking great and removed all traces of the moisture problem he had been experiencing. The newly repaired drywall sections held well and looked clean and undamaged.
